Belly Dance 肚皮舞

Belly Dance Level 1 – Introductory / Basic / Elementary

For Beginners who are new to dance. Absolute basics, body awareness, tips on good posture and helpful hints on how to make the most of your dance at Oasis. We recommend 8 – 16 hours to get the basics.

肚皮舞基礎班/入門班(Level 1)
適合初學者或對肚皮舞沒有經驗的人仕。 導師教授學員基本組合動作、肌控及身體協調, 以提升學員習舞能力,以方便日後參與本中心提供的進階課程。 建議初學者進行約8-16小時此基礎班的訓練。

Belly Dance For Fitness

Learn how to tone up and control different muscles. Gentle, relaxed and fluid exercise will be used to develop body awareness and coordination while grooving through the different styles and moods of Middle Eastern music. Great for all levels. Beginners are welcome.

肚皮舞健體班
導師利用不同類型的中東節奏及中東音樂, 以輕鬆柔和及不同類型的組合動作,教授學員建立身體的協調, 並達致塑型的效果。適合初學者及不同舞蹈經驗的人仕參加。

Belly Dance Level 2 – Basic / Elementary to Intermediate

Give yourself about 20 hours of instruction time to master the fundamentals of Belly Dance. Stretch and tone with isolations and articulations of the hips, shoulders, ribs and arms. Fun and easy Middle Eastern dance combinations will also be presented each time. Prop basics will also be introduced. eg. cane, veil, zill.

肚皮舞初級至中級班(Level 2)
二十小時的課程,為學員提供鞏固紥實的肚皮舞技巧訓練。 導師教授學員多種的舞蹈組合,利用不同的中東韻律節拍及音樂, 並通過臀部、肩膀、身、手等協調訓練,做出不同的舞蹈流動。 並讓學員漸漸學習控制舞蹈必須用到的肌肉群。 本課程亦利用舞蹈道具,例如指鈸、紗巾、手杖等於舞碼內。

 Floorwork For Belly Dancers

There are lots of creative ways to get down and look absolutely captivating. Using the elements of yoga and bellydancing, learn fun, creative and safe techniques to develop flexibility and core strength.

Belly Dance Level 3 – Intermediate to Advanced

Deeper into the techniques, styling and cultural awareness plus regular practice with finger cymbals and veils.

本課程加強肚皮舞技巧的訓練, 並深入介紹肚皮舞不同的風格及有關的文化背景。並且於課堂內, 有系統的訓練指鈸及紗巾技巧。

Arabic Rhythms And Zills

Highly recommended for all belly dancers. Beginners are welcome. A systematic course on learning the most popular Arabic rhythms, using clapping, zills, dancing and listening.

阿拉伯節奏及指鈸班
強烈推薦給學習肚皮舞的學員及初學者。此課程以系統學習的形式, 以輕鬆的手法,包括以聆聽、拍手、舞步及拍打指鈸的方式, 學習各種阿拉伯的節奏。

Performance Class – Belly Dance Level 2 & up

Oasis signature choreographies will be taught to students that are interested to perform for studio, community and formal projects.
The dancers will develop their stage presence, awareness and performance skills. Improvisation, acting, miming and team dynamics will also be explored.

表演班:肚皮舞中級或以上
此課程將教授本中心具代表性的舞碼,作為為本中心, 及外界團體的表演之用。
表演班學員將學習不同的舞台表演技巧及禮儀,包括服飾、 進場及退場、與觀眾的互動與交流等。另外,即興演出、情感表達, 以及舞者間的協作,亦於本課堂教授。

Arabic Percussion

Learn systematically the top rhythms for middle eastern music and belly dancing! Beledi, Saidi, Masmoudi and much more with our professional music instructors. Highly recommended for both Drummers and Dancers. Don’t miss it!

中東(阿拉伯)鼓班
專業音樂擊鼓導師,於本課程教授學員擊鼓, 並奏出中東地區肚皮舞者於舞蹈音樂的常用節奏, 其中所學的節拍包括:Beledi , Saidi, Masmoudi等等。對於鼓手及肚皮舞者,可謂是必修的課程。

Gypsy Fusion

Dance historians claim that the original belly dancers were gypsies. Learn a little dance history, try some lively combinations and explore different props too! FYI, Flamenco fusion is based on Zambra Mora, a form of Flamenco and Belly dance which fuses the centuries old link between the Arabic/Moorish culture of North Africa and Gypsy traditions of Spanish Andalusia.

佛朗明哥融合舞蹈班

根據舞蹈歷史學家的研究,最原始的肚皮舞者均是吉卜賽人。他們/她們學習不同的舞蹈歷史,並且運用工具融合不同的舞步組合之內。而佛朗明哥融合舞蹈是原自Zambia Mora。它是集結肚皮舞及佛朗明哥的舞蹈風格。這種舞蹈保留了源自古代阿拉伯和北非摩爾人、及吉卜賽傳統的西班牙安達尼西亞地區(Andalusia)的舞蹈特色。

 

Belly Dance Fusion

Characterized as predominant Middle Eastern Dance skills combined with another forms of dance.  Influenced by the musical choice, the class may feature interpretations of salsa, tango, bollywood, hip hop, burlesque etc.

Polynesian Dance 玻利尼西亞舞

Tahitian Dance Basics

Ori Tahiti (Tamure/Tahitian dance) is a Polynesian dance originated from Tahiti.

It consists of different style such as Aparima and Ote’a. Aparima is a dance that is very similar to Hula; it usually requires a lot of arm movements and is danced along and relatively to the song.

Ote’a on the other hand, is usually described as a rapid hip-shaking motion to percussion accompaniment. It was originally a dance that was only designated for men as the warriors’ dance, but after generations, women joined in and also performed in Ote’a. Gestures in this dance usually describe their daily activities.

大溪地舞基礎班
大溪地舞是玻利尼西亞舞之一。分為慢舞(Aparima) 及鼓舞(Ote’a)。
慢舞是一種很類似夏威夷的呼拉舞(Hula)。舞者跳舞同時, 需要配合多種的手部動作,以表達歌辭的內容及情感。
鼓舞是一種配合鼓樂的節奏,臀部高速轉動/擺動的舞蹈。 它最初源自男性用於表達戰士威武的舞蹈。但是, 經過長時間的演變,女性也參與此舞蹈,而舞者動作, 多以描述日常生活為主題。

 

Hawaiian Dance Basics

The Hula is a form of dancing native to Hawaii. It provides entertainment but has its roots in ancient ritual. The purpose of Hula dancing is to convey meaning through movement, intertwining the performers with the spirit of the universe by unifying their existence with nature. Over the 4 week course, the group will practise the basic techniques (ami, ka’o, kaho lo etc) and one mele (song).

夏威夷舞基礎班
呼拉舞(Hula)源出於夏威夷。它最早源於古代宗教儀式活動。 通過肢體語言,以歌頌對宇宙及世間萬物,和諧共存的精神。 在四星期的課程中,學員會練習呼拉舞的一些基本舞步(ami, ka’o, kaho lo, 等等),及完成一首夏威夷歌曲的舞碼。

Learn the basics of flamenco armwork, turns, heelwork, basic steps and rhythms for this dynamic form of Spanish dancing!

4. Classes will be cancelled if black cloud or typhoon signal 8 is hoisted of or about to be raised. If the signal is lowered by 5:00pm, evening classes will resume. 如黑色暴雨警告信號、八號或以上颱風信號生效, 所有課程將取消。如有關警告信號於下午五時前取消, 晚間課程如常進行。

mothers. We offer these classes in two convenient locations.
